How to use itunes (yes i must be stupid)

I used itunes before when i had my old Ipod, and I didnt find it hard, now I dont have a clue what to do with my new ipod nano, all I want to do is basically add/subtract songs on my ipod nano and add/subtract pictures - not asking for too much surely any advice? Been searching the net cant seem to find anything much helpfull, just how to create playlists etc.

I dont know either, I can add songs and take them off now (you add and take them off the library) but how do you add pictures?

Go into Edit -> Prefrences then iPod Tab then Photos Tab the tick Sync my pictures from.... then add the folders you want to sync in to the iPod. Oh then tick Copy selected photos

Working from memory (kids PC upstairs).

Right click on a song on the IPOD and go to GET INFO.
In there I'm sure theres somewhere to browse for your album cover.
