How to use modem-router as a modem only?

I'm currently using a Linksys WAG200G ADSL router but looking to get a new one with gigabit ethernet and 5ghz 802.11n capability, but unfortunately it seems all the decent routers these days are cable only.

I've heard though that it is possible to switch off the routing part in routers and use it as a modem only (so it can be hooked up to another router). How is this possible?

Under "Internet Setup" section of the router, there's a drop down menu for the internet connection type (encapsulation) that lists an option "Bridge Mode Only". Currently it is on "RFC 1483 Bridged".

So all I need to do is select this "Bridge Mode Only"?

Would I still be able to access the linksys web interface from the other router? Will it have an ip address on the network?
