Does anyone here know how to flash backed up SPD data to there sticks of ram using Thaiphoon Burner, I backed up my SPD data when I got a replacement kit for reasons that will follow below, but I dont actually know how to flash this data back to my sticks ? and cant seem to find any guides on the subject either.

and the reason I need to do this ? posted this on the G.Skill forums, not a happy bunny.

3rd Trident Z RGB kit once again today lost its programming, upon a restart I got a message from my bios saying memory had changed, my thoughts to that was "no its not" so I entered the bios only to discover, once again, XMP has disappeared off one of my sticks of ram and therefore XMP isnt available anymore.

I think after 3 kits now all doing the same thing, I dont think i'll bother with G.skill anymore, used there ram for years, but to have 3 kits do the same thing is ridiculous, I dont hear any other manufacturers ram having this problem.

I think its about time you gave people instructions on how to re-program / re-flash sticks of ram themselves, as I have original SPD data backed up, I just dont know how to flash it to the sticks.

have you been given a reason why the sticks are losing the xmp settings, sounds like a very odd issue and for 3 different kits to have the same issue.

are you the guy selling these fake ram sticks on ebay?

No im not unless OCuk are selling fake sticks at the time, this thread is 4 years old.

This thread is 4 years old, the problem was long sorted, it was a conflict of RGB software back then, you have to buy the thaiphoon burner software to reprogram the SPD of the sticks which gets corrupted when changing the colours and pattern of the sticks, G.Skills RGB software was the problem back then.
