How to view .RAW files in Windows Vista 64bit?

I have a Canon 350D and have started shooting in .RAW instead of .JPEG. I want to be able to view .RAW images in Windows photo gallery and I've already installed Canon RAW Codec 1.5 here;

But when I try to open a .RAW file I get the following error message;

Is there anything else I need to do? I thought the Canon RAW codec would have taken care of it.

irfanview will let you view them
