How to wash bip/jacket

I've got the full cycling bip, but im unsure is it okay to wash in the washing machine, if so what temp... or doesnt matter? Also can gel pads be replaced im sure they wear off at some point and fine for the jacket to go in as well?

Check the care label? I can't see why they wouldn't be ok use the delicate/hand wash cycle if you're worried.

What about the gel pads, do they ever wear off?

Read care instructions but most are basically: 30 degree, delicate/hand cycle, very mild detergent, no fabric softeners. Don't use tumble dryer or iron.

If being washed with items with zips (like jerseys) zip them up to avoid any snagging.

Avoid anything with velcro like the plague! If I need to wash anything with velcro (gloves/overshoes) I put them in a 'washing bag' to separate them so the velcro can't damage other garments.
