how to watch hi def with 48701gb

how do i go about watching hi def on 4870 with a oc 24" lcd ? whats the best way ?
cos sd looks awful on it ?

Need to know whether it's tv (DVB-T, DVB-S) or blue-ray etc you're asking about.

You'll need a blu-ray drive + software (usually bundled) and nothing else for that, the gfx should just work fine.

For TV you'll need a subscription of some kind or freesat from what I understand.

If you mean SD content in a HD resolution, you need to tell us the nature of the input source.

you need a high def source, be it bluray, sky+hd, V+HD, FreeSat..

you cant just watch it because you monitor will display the resolution.
