How to wire an amp

When i bought my car the guy took his speakers and sub out but left his amp in.

Recently i got a new set of speakers but i think the reason that they keep cutting out is that they dont have enough power so i need to figure out how to wire this amp up.

On one side of it it his

"Writing above Points to R- and L+ and Says bridged"

R+ R- L- L+ GND RMT +12V

On the other side is 2 Ports that say "Low Imput".

From the GND leads to a ground.
The +12v Leads to the postitive side on my car battery.
The two low imput leads all the way to the back of my car sterio
The RMT follows the leads that goes to the back of my sterio but i dont know where it ends.

But im not sure how to wire it up correctly so it powers my speakers.

Well after i installed a new set of speakers when driving along all the speakers will just randomly go quiet, no sound from them at all.

So i was talking to a friend he said it might be that i aint got enough power to power the new components.

Do i just wire the back speakers to it or the right and left?

And do i Connect my speakes to the + and - bits then where? How do i connect the amp to the Head Unit, is that done through the low voltage cables?
 
Ive searched through the car, looked at all the connections everything seems fine cant find a single lose connection anywhere?

If it was a lose connection where would it must likley to be?

I wasent getting this problem before i connected up my new rear speakers.

Also is it best to Amp the rear or the front speakers?

The front speakers are only 10cm but the rear speakers are 17cm.
 
Ok i got the Pioneer DEH-P6500 Headunit

So i take out the Wires Going from my rear speakers to the headunit,
I then connect the rear speakers to the Amp.
I connect the Low imput connections to the rear of my head unit.
And also connect that remote control thingey to my head unit also.

I got some component 250w 17cm speakers.
 
Ok ill need to go buy some speaker cable tommorow, Any special cable i should get or just the stuff from B & Q?
 
Ok im not sure thats the exact same model,

On the back of my Head unit it has 4 holes to put the Low imput connections into.

There is 2 rows of 2.

The 2 on the top Has an L beside it and are Coloured White.
The row under it Has a R beside it and Is coloured Red.

Which ones do i put it onto.
 
It aint labled clearly The top row is all labled as R and they are all White the Bottom Row is all labled as L and they are all red :)
 
Ok i got the Amp wired up correctly i think.

Got the Remote lead going into the back of the sterio the speakers connected to the amp, the amp is getting power, I got the low Imput leads into the back of the head unit.

but.. Im not getting any sound out the speakers that are powered up to the Amp.

Im not 100% sure i got the low Imput leads into the right port on the head unit, some of the ports i put it into produces a kind of noise out the speakers, Anybody got any tips.

There is other ports on the amp like High Imput and such what are they for?
