I've got a cat 6 cable going from my server up into my study. The cable is going to terminate at a network socket set into the wall. I'm having serious issues working out how to correctly wire the keystone jack and need help. The keystone jack I have has eight pushdown connections - 4 top, 4 bottom. My first issue is that the jack is unlabelled so I've no idea where each of the eight network wires go. The second issue is that my net searching has only uncovered wiring diagrams for jacks that have side by side connections. Third issue is that there seems to be a multitude of different ways to wire the damn thing so I'm completely lost.

Does anyone out there know the correct way to wire the keystone jack?

Does the cap not have colour coding on it? Depending on the brand tt should have little slits to put the copper wires into, before you press them into the jack itself.

Also, run two cables if you haven't already.

Pics below. It's a no name Amazon job hence the lack of colour coding on the jack. I can handle that just long as I can get an idea of the correct wire positions

For completeness, this is the back of the wall plate the connector slots into

Is there not a plastic carrier thing that clips over the top of it, as seen in this picture https://excel-networking.com/catalogue/product/100-215-BK-24

If there's nothing then send the lot back to Amazon and buy UK stock from a quality UK supplier.
And there's the correct answer. I've got so much new (to me) network cable kit floating around I'd missed these carrier clips until I went and double checked. Thanks!
