Get all my files from my old pc which i gived for my brother :rolleyes:

there is music, videos, software, games etc it's around 30gb+ what should i use to move them all to my pc fast? both running xp pro 32bit... both connected to the same router... any help appriaciated!

One simple way would be to simply share the folders of what needs to be transfered, then on the pc wanting the files simply go to network neighbourhood, open the shared folders and drag and drop to the location you want them. May not be the fastest method, but assuming both PCs are on the same network/workgroup then it should be very simple to do.

As Dist says. Make sure you have Shared folders enabled, you then connect to each other through Network Neighbourhood.
