hi all ..

i`ve got a NETGEAR DG834 wired router/modem ,

i`ve forgotten the password to logg into it thru a webb browser ,

is there a way to reset it to default to gain access again ?

Press and hold the reset button on the back for 10 seconds, that'll wipe any configuration changes you've made including the password. Default login is admin/password.

The DG834 and the G variant have the default username and password written on the bottom of the router so it's not possible to lose it.

but if ya changed ya password an forgot it !! i know what a noob

didn`t know about the reset option thats all

all sorted an reset to something i`ll remember this time ..
