How Tough Are iPhones?

I just droped my iPhone on my wooden flooring Thankfully it is undamaged. It's made me wonder just how much damage can an iphone take? The best part is my iphone is always in a protective cover and screen protector I only took it out of the cover to sync it

dropped mine today

only the back and top were damaged, did have to switch it on and off though as it was acting a bit funny

That's rough mate I think I've been lucky this time round. It doesn't half make your heart skip a beat when it drops and lands on the floor.
