im only asking this because theres a person with a part i want, its going v cheaply and i cant resist a bargain, i also desperatly cant afford to be taken for a ride as its quite a lot of money for me to lose. now ordinarily i wouldnt mind and would just pay up, after all i found it through MM, the only issue i have is that the person has no trust yet and the name on the trust panel is different to the name that comes through his e-mails.

paranoid, perhaps. but i just dont want things to go wrong :(

i guess what i am asking is have there been many instances of MM fraud?
 
well, they have been here since august with 350 or so posts ? not exactly a flash in the pan, been reading their posts too, the person seems quite polite and helpful...
 
you see the problem was the goods were not available till the later this month, hes not an etailer or anything, just a student at the other end of the country, he offered to get someone up there to post the stuff out to me when i asked if there was any way,

now in his favour he has just sent me an e-mail asking me not to send the money untill he can make sure its going to be posted which seems fair, honest and reasonable on his part.

once i get his contact details and with the way he has acted i think all may be well :)
 
im going to go for it, he seems fine, probably just my paranoia over internet transactions lol. i will keep in touch and let you know, suffice to say if all goes well this persons getting the best feedback comment ever written :)
