How very pleasant

dont think its the parents fault tbh

they shopped her to the police when she did it.

lots of parents have good kids who get mixed up the wrong crowd. They then take to drink and/or drugs and dont know how to handle it. They dont want their 12 year old girl to be a drunken law breaker, but have no idea how to stop them. After all, you've got to let them go out to go school at some point.

I never get these ... banned from driving? whats the point in that?

So that if/when they get caught again they can be charged with driving whilst disqualified. That offence is not taken lightly by courts and can carry a higher sentence than simply driving without a licence.

Surely they should make the ban start from her 17th birthday. How the hell can you be banned from driving when your not old enough to drive

Read my post directly above yours :)

Take her out back and have her shot. It'll save society a lot of money in the long run
Agreed, infact I'm sure they're already arranging a council house and numerous benefits ready for her release  Maybe if she's lucky they'll send her go karting too...

The punishment is a joke, but if after her ban she wants to drive legally the insurance may be so high that we will be spared from having her on the roads for a good few years (unless she drives illegally again of course :( ).
