How well does bad company 2 run on a 4870x2?

I can give a personal account as I am running a 4870X2 (Q9550 @ 3.6, 4GB DDR2 1066, 120GB SSD Win7 64bit) and playing BC2.
I have all driver options set to highest except (V-Sync off) AA/AF which are set app pref and all in game options set on highest (V-Sync off).
I get around 55-60fps pretty much constant and it's a really nice looking game too. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!

I'm running a stock 920, with a single 5850 at 1680x1050. I think you'd be fine really.

I haven't tinkered with anything new mate, I just use my own set profiles in ccc. :)

Btw what's wrong with your main PC?

I though the profiles in ccc. were not properly crossfire working? i know this because it never worked for me hence the reason why ati have released their new profiles. I think my gigabyte board is just crap. its reboot looping every 3 seconds and i dont know how to fix it. gigabyre repaired the board saying one of the pins was bent, board was then taking a long time to boot, however when i got it back from gigabyte wont boot properly. my cpu is not faulty, my board is fine as my friends cpu works in it with all my hardware attached. Im just stoked as to what it can be.

Hmm I'm not sure what to say there. Pressure them some more, since something clearly isn't right. Gigabyte are supposedly one of the better for rma / customer service. I wish you the best of luck with dude.

If that fails and you get no where, you could grab a cheap mobo for the meantime.
