how well will my 7990 overclocked handle eyefinity?

hey guys,

im looking at trying eyefinity with my 7990 @1100/1575

these are the monitors i will buy

but the question is, how well will it handle the three monitors in crysis 3/bf3/4 coh2 etc

i like everything maxed out, am i pushing it to say my 7990 could do it?

AA might have to be knocked down a bit, i ran eyefinity with a single 7970 very well so i guess a 7990 would be much better

Power-wise it will handle it but please note that the frame pacing issues were only sorted for single display. Crossfire and multi-monitor,along with DX9,still have the stuttering issues. They say that it will be fixed but I dont think a dates been put on it yet

I game exclusively in eyefinity, with 2x7970s and I don't notice frame pacing issues.

It's an exaggerated issue, like microstuttering generally. Some people see it, others don't. When your cards are powerful, it's much less of an issue.

If you do have a problem with specific games (apparently FarCry 3 is a stuttery mess for nearly everyone), use RadeonPro's dynamic frame limiting feature to fix it. LtMatt had a thread about this a while back, showing how it killed frame pacing problems.

With a OC 7990 you will have plenty of beef.
