Hey folks,

Just noticed the nice price of the q6700.
I was not far off of buying a q6600, but now the q6700 is in range too.

Is the q6700 a safer bet taking into account I have a p5n-e and I've heard about probs with o/c quads on these?

Ideally I'd be looking to get 3.2ghz out of one to match my current dual-core.

Cheers.

of course nobody knows overclock is largely down to luck even if someone has the same combination doesn't mean you'll get the same results.

having said that G0 revision quad at 3.2Ghz should be fine with this board.

I'd b interested to find out too, i also have this board, and was planning on the Q6600 then intel announced these price cuts and the Q6700 suddenly looked a very nice propersition.

However i've heard of people struggling with this board to get any kind of decent OC out of it when using a quad :(

benskia, if u decide to buy pls post ** results and let us know how you get on. be *** to know.
