My brother gave me his old pc and I bought a few upgrades but as the pc is still a few thousand miles away any idea what I could expect with the following setup in terms of gaming performance. Heres some games I'm playing atm. Crysis, Metro 2033, Mafia 2, Dirt3, Duke Nukem, Deus ex revolution.
New Stuff:
Cooler Master CM690-II Lite Dominator Case
Cooler Master GX 750W psu
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 32MB Cache
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6870
Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler
So all I'm keeping from his old system is the cpu, ram and motherboard:
msi g41m e43
2x2gb 1333mhz
Q8400 Core 2 Quad
I do not have a screen but I do have a 42" 1080p think 50hz tv I have no use for, will it be ok or should I get something else?
Also, Im thinking of going to the LIT show Friday 21st October so can get the 2 for 1 ticket deal, anybody want a ticket for £5 on the day
