How would I go about being able to play resident evil 1 on my PC with XP ?

Hi with so many amazing memories of playing resident evil on the PS1 I would like to play them again on my PC which has Xp installed.

Only problem is the game is meant for windows 95 and 98. any ideas on how I could play these games ??

I remember reading ages a go about some type of trick.

install it as normal then on the exe goto the properties and set it to run in 95/98 mode

has any one over the last few years gone back to playing this game on the PC from the good old days from *** PS1 and enjoyed it ????

Should get the Remake for the gamecube then its better in every way

My gf is abit of a fan, so i was trying to install it on her comp. it was soo old :/ a tnt gfx card ffs! anyway, i had some problems with it on 2000. if u could acherly get it working, it would crash quite abit.. probly down to gfx drivers and watnot but still.

True but doesn't bring back memories from the good old day if thats what your after. Id like to get resi 1 some time to remind me of a time when i loved gaming.

The remake is worth it for the crimson heads alone :eek:
