Right, so I want to bump my fitness up starting tommorrow and I am going to start by doing a nice jog say 1 mile to 1.5 miles long.

I do not have any idea though where I could run (a route) that would be 1 mile / 1.5 miles long.

Anyone got any ideas please. :D

my girlfriends sister has just took up running, she asked if she could borrow my computer. when I switched it on for her, she loaded a website which had a map on it at ordenance survey sort of scale. you then traced your route with the pointer and it calculated the distance. the catch is I can't remember the site addy, sorry! but there are more high tec solutions than a map if you want them.

Thanks for that, if the name comes up feel free to post again. :D

Im about 400 yards away from Bantock park :)

Don't live near West Park, I'd have to get two buses to get there and thats pointless.

Do live close to both Hickman and East Park though.

I imagine the outside of East Park might be close to a mile but Hickman isn't I wouldn't say.

The part that kinks, some of that is the actual park but a small bit of it is just a patch of grass.

But pointless really as I'd have thought it would be part of the park and fenced off along with the park.

Think I'll be doing the East Park one then for now.
