Hi folks,

Not mucked around with web design for a while now (been busy going general graphic design and photography) but a friend asked me to sort him out with a website for his new garage business.

I constructed a fairly nice looking design and want the right hand box to be able to self expand depending on the amount of text and graphics inside. My usual way of doing things is to cut it all out in Fireworks then muddle with the HTML code to make the table elements expand automatically by assigning HEIGHT="*" and WIDTH="*" tags. Unfortunatly its been a while since I last did a site and I cant get my head round how to do it with this design.

I know its probably a very simple answer I'm looking for so could someone lead me in the right direction

Here is the design, firstly where it all fits fine into the set layout, and a second example of what I'd like it to do (expand down the screen) when the box area fills with more data.

Many thanks,

Rikki

Standard amount of data in box area:

When more data appears:

When the text and graphics in the green area expand to fill more of the page I wish for the red areas on each side to stretch/repeat downwards:

Take a 1px cut of the background that you want to expand and set it as a repeating background on that table cell/div which contains your menu. Hope that makes sense :).
