The game looks great, mix of rpg/action

AMD PHEMOM x4 965 3.48 GHz
4 gb ddr3 ram
hd radeon 5700 GPU

usually game at 1680x1050, but would consider lowering the resolution for this game

If you wanted a better experience, you might get away with a 5850 at minimum.

I'v got a 5870 and I am playing the game 1920x1200 at the default Ultra settings.

If you'v already got a 5770, trying getting another one for xfire.

It's a very demanding game at high detail levels, but it does look fine at medium and runs fine on a 5770 with a bit of fiddling with the settings.

Not showing off, but as a benchmark for you guys.

My PC plays the game at default ultra settings at 1920x1200 using a 2Gb 5870, [email protected] and 4Gb ram.

Thats the ball park you need to play it at ultra settings.

When I was using the 11.7 ATI drivers, it wasnt as smooth, but the 11.8 drivers was a massive improvement and the game is smooth now.

Im hoping my PC holds together when BF3 launches.

I'd say at a base minimum you'd get away with a Core2Quad at around 3Ghz and a 5850 or GTX 460/560

i think ubersampling is the only framrate killing setting , i turned all the depth of field/motion blur crap off because i would rather play games without them.

i was using that FXAA injector someone made to get AA

Straight from the Web site:

Minimum requirements:

Processor: Core 2Duo 2.2 GHz or dual core AMD 2.5 GHz
RAM: 1 GB Windows XP, 2 GB Windows Vista/7
Graphics: GeForce 8800 512 MB or Radeon (HD3850 512 MB)
HDD Space: 16 GB
Recommended requirements:

Processor: Quad Core Intel or AMD
RAM: 3 GB Windows XP, 4 GB Windows Vista/7
Graphics: GeForce 260 1 GB or (HD4850 1 GB)
HDD Space: 16 GB

Are you all being completely honest about how you can run it?

I'm currently running a Quad core Phenom x4 955 @ 3.2Ghz, 8GB of 1333mhz DDr3, and a 2GB 6950 @ 850/1300

And I can only get 45-60fps on high settings, on ultra I would be around 30 and below which to me is completely unplayable, are you just playing at sub 30 fps or do you know something I don't?

*edit* I'm only running at 1680x1050 too, other people with inferior rigs claim to be running at 1920x1080 at ultra, fps dips would be way into single figures, sure it will look nice but do people just put up with the terrible frame rate for looks?
