Afternoon chaps and chapets
I am a complete n00b when it comes to overclocking.
It’s something I’ve always been interested in, but never really had the hardware or knowledge to attempt it. However I’m not a novice when it comes to computers, I’ve worked with computers and networks for over 12 years and I’m currently a domain admin for a very large WAN in the North West.
Anyways I joined this site the other day for advice on a power pack and you lot were a much appreciated help, it’s also restarted the overclocking itch I always had.
What I’m after is a responsible overclocking goal with the hardware I have. I did manage 3.4ghz with a score of 5.8 on Cinebench. However I’ve reverted back as I don’t have the knowledge, and I don't know if my system can handle that.
If included screen shots of my motherboard and processer.
What would be a responsible goal for my CPU?
