How would you partition the drives on this computer?

Installing OpenSUSE LEAP 15.2 on my main desktop after using OpenSUSE on my laptop for a few weeks. Not sure how to make the best use of storage drives. I have the following:

1TB PCI-e NVMe SSD
512GB SATA SSD
4TB 7200 RPM SATA HDD

My default choice is to use btrfs for all partitions (except swap obviously) but if people think certain partitions would benefit from a different filesystem I'd love to hear why. The other specs of the machine:

Intel 7900X @ 4.4Ghz
64GB quad-channel RAM
Nvidia 1080Ti GPU
Blu-ray writer drive

I primarily use the machine for programming and virtual machines with a bit of gaming on the side (already checked and the games I like to play work perfectly on Linux).

If you need any more information then feel free to ask for it and I'll try and give you as much information as you need.

Partition? I wouldn't.

I think partitioning is pointless. Leave them the size they are.

A partition is just a lower level split of the available space, I don't see why you can't just use another directory to achieve the same thing.
