How would you react to an email like this...

If it was completely random and I didn't particularly know the person sending, I would likely report it to mods and their ISP abuse dept having logged the IP.

If it was someone I relatively "knew" here, I would reply with something equally scathing.


EDIT - Just read that the sender didn't actually reveal who exactly they are. A quick WhoIs resolves the IP in the US - so either it's Ken (unlikely) or some noob here thinking they're funny while trying out some proxy software.
 
It's annoying. While you might be cool with it, it's in the back of you're head purely because you don't know who sent it. I can take abuse from people and brush it off but when they don't even have the guts to say who they are, it's pretty lame. 99% of the internet who insult wouldn't say it to a persons face because they know something worse would come back at them. Internet gives them the ability to do so without consequences, doesn't give them the right to though.

Im sure the mods will ban someone for abusing the OCUK mail system, if they can.

For an email, yes waste police time :)

If it poses a threat on his safety and someone knocks on his door then yeah ring the police, but this idiot who sent the email probably dosnt know that he can be tracked so is loving the attention on here, i bet if he knew he could be tracked then he may think twice next time.

He should block the email and add it to his junk folder, that way he wont find it again, THATS what he should do.
 
That's an astonishingly retarded email, tbh. About the only funny aspect is how backward the sender is, and even then you'd have to agree that they must be an extremely sad case. Must be someone from out in the boonies, the sort that still points at aeroplanes. Incredible.

I get this all the time from several sad OCUK'ers.
I know exactly what to do to get a response and it never fails so I do bring it on myself.
Yesterday was the last time when I posted a picture of my Fender Strat and it did take them a while before I got the emails.

I just find it surprising that someone can be that much of a loser to waste their time sending an email like that. What the hell is a brown jobby anyway?
