How would you setup your system using these HDD's?

Someone has asked me to setup their system, and they have the following HDD's available to use:

40GB IDE (wasn't going to use this)
160GB IDE (Was thinking of using this as main disk to hold OS and program files)
400GB IDE (not sure how to use)
1TB SATA - Samsung spinpoint F1 (original planned to use as backup drive, but it seems a waste as it's a fast disk with a lot of space)

If you had these 4 drives available, how would you setup this system?

Reminds me of a multiple choice question...
^Above^ is fine if just one user, if its a shared PC and expecting lots of family users etc I would use 160GB for OS.

I would use the 1TB as windows drive with a partition of between 75-100GB for windows and apps, then the rest for storage. Use the 400GB as a backup drive and scrap the other 2 drives.

160gig as main os
40gig back up os leave in unconnected
400 gig for app/games etc..
1 tb for back up.

I would get an Icybox for the 1TB Samsung and get an SATA-eSATA adapter if you dont have an eSATA connection already. That way you can always have it plugged in (externally) but still transfer and access data at the fastest possible rate. When you want to take it somewhere, simply unplug it. That way you dont need to get an external HDD. :)

For the rest, i'd use the 160GB as Windows/System drive and keep it as clean as possible. Don't really think you'll use more than 25% of the capacity, meaning you won't have to defrag too often.

Then use the 400GB for all your images/music/downloads/games etc. Then have it all backed up on the 1TB. If you dont have a lot of games installed at a time (2 or 3), then you may as well install them straight onto the 160GB seeing as though it'll be pretty clean.
