How you play dvds in vista?

Media player wont play for me.

VLC sometimes I get red screen and only sound.

Media player classic I get video but no sound somtimes.

Set the video output to directx in VLC and let me know how you get on.

Works with Direct X but not with direct x 3D

thing at the top, if you have 64bit, then look for the 64 bit components too (you need to run both files, the normal and the 64)

I use mplayerc. How do I get WMP to use FFDShow? I'd use WMP but it uses a different codec or something and I get a wierd ghosting effect. mplayerc uses FFDShow and that's fine.

mplayerc is the best video player imo

-use that pack i suggested above for microsoft players to work properly

I use theatertek with Vista Home Premium with FFDShow with no complaints
