ok a quick question, what is the best way to compress a video without loosing quality?

i have a series of videos at about 85mb each and i need them to be about 15 to 20mb each, but i don't want them to loose loads of quality.

Thanks

Well you can't - you will loose quality.

Depends what kind of format the original is in. Have a look at xVid and DiVX codecs which are the best you can get really - if it's already in that format then you can recode it and loose a lot of quality.

how long are the videos? and what are they of?

autogk will do it for you, just select roughly 10mb per minute of video in the size settings
