Can i paint the slightly ugly clear side panel on my 'Tec 900, its starting to get boring, and i wanted the 'clear' to be black, solid black, with the mesh showing and a black fan......stealth like.....

what paint would i need to do the side window?

Just read an email in another thread from someone wanting a 900 panel on a 300

Great news just got a reply from antec which reads

Hello ******

The panel from a 900 is the same size as the 300 side panel. You can contact [email protected] to purchase a panel.

So that means the 300 panel must fit the 900, so you can purchase a black panel from antec.

I think you would have to roughen up the perspex for it to actually take the paint. Either that or how about just a bit of black card on the opposite side of the window? Temporary and should look ok with the window giving it a glossy finish.

And the 900 Right hand side plain panel actually fits on the other side. You can buy the replacements from Antec.

Get a tin of plastic primer from halfords, lightly sand the perspex to allow the paint to adhere better. Then finish it off with a couple of coats of black spray paint.

and that sounds about right....but wasnt sure it would work....wih black would i need?

Would depend on wether you want a shiny gloss finish or if you prefer a duller matt, ideally id try to match it to the rest of the case.
