Not sure if this the right place to ask but, I have set up a virtual server running Windows Server 2008 R2 and a virtual machine running Windows 7 Enterprise.
When I set up folder redirects it doesn't seem to redirect, I have also set up that a user(test user) has their profile path set to a file server.
When I set up the redirects and profile paths and log on to the client machine(running Windows 7 Enterprise) it always prepares the desktop and creates a TEMP user and doesn't seem to save any files that I put on the Desktop or anywhere else doesn't seem to save.
When I look on the files server I can see two folders one called "username".V2 assuming thats the "profile" which is empty and another one called "username" which I assume is the redirects folder because it contains appdata(which was one of the redirects).
Any ideas why the profile and redirect aren't actually saving onto the server?
If you don't understand what I'm talking about then could you please tell me how to set up roaming profiles and redirects?
