I am a new member but a lurker that finally made the decision to make an account. I have read some very interesting threads and some very knowledgeable replies.
I am looking to move away from standard copper broadband that only gives about 13mb download speed and is hopless for streaming on our irestick if there are more than one persons using the internet at the same time. I am very nervous about changing ISP and entering a 24 month contract because it would tie us in for 2 years and my parents are elderly and I do not want them to have have problems because they have been with sky broadband now for around 18 year previously with AOL dialup. So as you can see they have not moved ISP's very often. I will be asking questions and advice to attempt to make the switch over as easy and as pain free as possible for my parents and myself (I still live at home with my parents)
