Hi all.
Just taken the plunge and built an Intel based system after almost 2 decades of AMD!

I think the Overclockers Forums will be a great place to learn about getting the best from my gear. :)
 
Welcome, I did the same, always had AMD from K6-II days, finally switched to Intel last year, haven't regretted it for a minute and I'm sure you won't either :)
 
Agreed, currob and kayomani. No regrets and a big jump in performance;
especially after overclocking from stock of 3.5 GHz to 4.4. ;)

The only complication was the heatsink.
My last AMD quadcore was just clipped on the cpu socket.
None of this "bolts through the mobo" business! :)
