Hows does this look before I buy?

After many hours of searching and pondering I have gone for the following!!

Am I looking to OC the 8400, hence why I went for the 8500 memory

Looks good, although you may want to invest in a better cooler. Depends really on how much overclocking you plan on doing. Thermalright heatsinks are always highly rated, you also have the flexibility of using any fan you like on them.

The cooler does a good job, and is silent. On faster speeds it can be heard, but that is due to the air moving rather than a crappy fan.

It is not a heavy duty cooler though.

I agree with whats been said, if you want a big overclock with the E8400, go with a better cooler. I've got a tuniq on mine, runs cool and quiet. Thermalright are always good to go for, stick a couple of quiet 120mm fans and your good to go. Also the noctua cooler is excellent, but both these options are more expensive
