Hows my 3dmark06 score?

Hmm it should, you do have 3dmark 06 score of your own i presume. The compare link is or was required whenever ppl here asked for to check 3d mark scores. Maybe times have changed i duno.

I go to the page but there is no score there to look at....and yes i have 3dm06....my best score is 22167 as a comparison
 
I have just installed an Asus 260 TOP, running a Q9550 @ 3529MHz with 4GB Corsair Dominator 8500 Ram. My score 17953, cpu5223 sm2 7470 sm3 7910.
The difference with you score seems to be down to my cpu & ram.

At the end of the day its does it play the games you want to at a reasonable resolution & frame rate on average settings. You pay to be on the bleeding edge & I was lead to believe a card should last 2 years. [begs the question of 3, 5, 7, 10 year warantees with stringa attached].

I got a score of 11191 with my new rig, which consists of:

E7400 @ Stock
PowerColor Radeon 4870 1gb with Gpu @ 790MHz and Memory @ 950MHz
2Gb GeiL Ultra
Gigabyte EP31-DS3L

That an alright score for the specs, or would it be better running the 4870 at stock clocks?

Don't bother with 3dmark06, it's out of date and isn't really representative of real game performance with newer cards.

Your CPU is probably bottlenecking your GFX card a bit so overclock it and you'll get a better score. I get a score of 14,164 with my rig and your GFX card is a fair bit faster than mine so you should be able to do better ;)
 
I get 12268 with my set up in sig, not sure if its good or not lol but it works..
