First go at my CV. Have removed sensitive info by capitlizing relevent words eg SCHOOL etc

just gonna use this to apply to some pc store. mainly just so i can add that work experience onto my CV. havent even left school yet so found it quite difficult to talk about small things in a larger scale (making insignificant things sound less insignificant) and hopefully have done an OK job

please read and comment on what i could improve upon

You realise it probably only displays the intended content on that URL for you only?

Yeah, no. You haven't linked to it. Are you applying for a technical job? ;)

Can you not just upload the PDF somewhere and link to that?

What on earth's the red splodge all about?

Also why are you shouting at the end? All you need to say is that references are available upon request.

Edit: I just realised you're 15/16 looking for summer work before a-levels. No matter how good your CV is, be prepared to be turned down almost everywhere. Employers tend to be quite averse to spending money employing/training people who are likely to bugger off after 2 months.

I got my summer jobs by lying about my future educational ambitions.

thats not my actual cv i just quickly edited it to remove sensitive info....

on page 2 it should read "quickly and precisely" rather than "quickly and concisely"

Thanks for the first useful help mate :)

finally you understand because you read the OP! i understand that so would you recommend me writing about how i want to become a nerd full time in the forever afters. or at least talk about that in the interview? and you dont actually say if the CV is good at all lol is it satisfactory?

I apologize but it was a custom link and when I viewed it it showed my what I needed to see, the links to the JPEG of my CV - which is why i thought it would have been an external link, shoulda checked on diff browser but didnt bother. anyways that is what i did, linked to an upload of the PDF.

As a whole, it looks good. At least you've remembered to take out your 'sensitive' information. :)

Only bit i'm not sure with, is the 'SCHOOL' stuff. Just not sure the words need to be used in capitals.

no no it wont be caps on the other copy of my cv, the actual cv just says my school eg plymouth school or whatever instead of the caps. i put the caps words there to make it easier for people to understand where there sensitive info was lol

I would take out the stuff about SATS, it doesn't mean anything to anyone over the age of 16. Is 5 good? Who knows!
