Hi, I want to keep my E6400 on stock volts, I have an Artic Freezer 7 Pro and was hoping to get around 3Ghz without it being too hot? Is this possible?

I have a Gigabyte DS3 and GeIL 2GB Ultra low latency DDR2 800Mhz memory.

Oh yeh I also have an Akasa Eclipse 62 w/ 2x120mm ambers if that helps too.

ive ordered:

Conroe E6600, 2gb Crucial Ballistix PC8000 1000mhz ram, Gigabyte DS3 and a Ninja....

what speed would i get to on default volts??

and u think i coulod push it to 4ghz ?

3Ghz is more or less a given :) Might hit way more though, up to you to unlock the power of the Allendaleee muahahahahaah

er
sorry :D

got the same setup as yours but i needed 1.4 to get 400fsb but any higher is a pot of mess..

it took me 1.45 to get 12 hour dual prime stable at 425mhz..

theres a guy on here. easyrider or something has his system rummin at 3.98 ghz or somethin.... i think his is stable.

p.s i didnt mean 4ghz on default volts.....
