Hows my speed?

Hi,

Before I start fiddling about with my MTU/RWIN I'd like to know if I would see much improvement on the speeds I currently get. According to my provider (UKFSN) the best I could hope for is 6.5MB on their ADSLMAX 8MB service, which is fine but I'm currently 1.5MB short of that.

I have no experience of this kind of service so was wondering if these speeds are acceptable?

I'm not sure how accurate that test is as I'm in Bristol and get better results from Paris than I do for London.

Do you know if interleaving has been enabled? your ping seems a little high

that sites pretty crap, it says something like I am 20 miles away from london, and have a 3mb connection...
When im clearly no were near london and on a 10meg connection

Does help when your ISP is not overloaded and has spare capacity. UKFSN, as part of enta at the moment are suffering on their speeds. Look on adslguide, everyone is complaining. Have to wait till december (end of) but i think it wont improve things.
