Hey guys, well here is my spec

Antec 1200 case
Artic cooling freezer pro heatsink
(both brand new)
E6600
7950gt 512mb
(Over a year old)
Asus p5k Premium
2GB Corsair dominator ram
Corsair 520hx psu
Samsung spin point 500gb
(2 months old)
Creative x fi extreme soundcard
(9 months old)

The temperature reading i am receiving according to both speedfan and real temp is cpu temp of 50degrees.

It has not been overclocked or anything does this seem ok, seems a tad high to me for something not overclocked? Anyone any thoughts of how to bring it down, or what the problem might be

Thanks

Yeah actually took some today mate, i ll have some more tomorrow so i shall do it tomorrow because going out soon.

Thanks, for the nice comment.

Any feedback on my temp, whether you think its high or not?

I have taken photos with canon 350d with wide angle any chances i could win best quality picture :D:D j/k

Is that at full load or idle!
If idle I would say it seems a little high, what is the fan RPM.

Rob

By full load if you mean my computer being on and me using it then yes fulll load, however if you mean full load playing counter strike source or something then no it isnt.

Ok, download Prime95 or Orthos to stress your CPU at full load and see how your temps pan out.

Ok thanks for your comments whilst i have been out partying and my computer has been idle it has reached 72 degrees!!!

I am guessing a remount may do the trick yes? I have the artic cooling heatsink but they are hard to fit right :/

Turned my computer on this morning to see 62 degrees idle in the bios so i switched it straight of and had a fiddle around, after almost snapping my motherboard in half i got an ok fit with my artic cooling freezer pro but seriously why do they develop the heatsink to have such a cr*p fastening method.

Its completely rubbish, i am still not convinced it is actually touching my cpu much at all so a new heatsink is in order noctua all the way, should have gone with it at the start really.

Does overclockers give back refunds, if your not happy with the item?

Will.

Thats far to warm. Mine's overclocked a fair bit and it idles in the 30's. My apartment gets pretty warm too. Are you using real temp to measure your temps?

You can only return it (after you have used it) if it's defective. Don't believe the bios temp, it's usually cack.

Meh well had a fiddle about now its at 30 degrees highes being 41 degrees lowest being 28 degrees in about 5 hours.

I am using realtemp yes,

Any one any suggestions because this artic cooling fan just aint going on properly
