first off no im not drunk for once, but cant take my eyes off the moon, its pulsating and sooooooo bright in Southampton, gutted the wife took my camera to Uganda
 
The moon is trying to come through, but its just cloudy.

10 miles out of Plymouth here, living in the sticks :p

is anything going on with the moon today? my polish neighbour was not making much sense, but he was some what overwhelmed by it & vodka :D
 
all my neighbours are polish and i just got back from a polish wedding in poland. vodka and polish people are like two pea's in a pod! never seen without each other :D

The ISS was passing in front of it at some point, shouldn't last that long though. It is a full moon though and you might still catch some Perseids if you're lucky.

As for the OP, i managed to catch it for a second while out with the dog, literally through the clouds :p
 
Not quite full yet I don't think, still waxing gibbous.

I can't believe it's actually called that, I never get tired of it :p

If he comes into work on Monday smelling of cheese and very dusty, you will have know what has happened :p

And you said at 0055 it was full... so before that it wasn't full and must've been waxing gibbous.

Waxing. Gibbous.

You can't just say that the moon is full for a single moment in time, that's no use for everybody. For all astronomical intents and purposes the moon is and has been full all night :p
