hi,
just wondering how this is done, looks rather funky

guessing some sort of feature in photoshop but have no idea, just basic stuff in photoshop

Which bit? The background? I'd imagine it's someone who's good at drawing vectors some gradients and transparencies.

I'm not an expert by any means though.

Eh? You can use the pen tool with a mouse. He didn't say you needed a tablet
