Building a second machine for a new house, was hoping for a little bit of criticism and possibly having rotten fruit pelted at me.

Case: HAF 922
RAM: XMS3 4GB Corsair, 1600
Motherboard: P7P55D-E Pro
Graphics: GTX 560i OC
PSU: 850w Corsair
CPU: i5 760
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Plus
HDD: F3 Spinpoint 1 TB
Optics: Lite on DVD
Compound: Arctic Silver 5

Was originally looking into Sandybridge, but decent SLI motherboards bump up the price too much. I don't see enough of an upgrade to be worried about it though.

Stulid my friend, your advice is always a beacon :)

While I agree I could, I'm trying to stay open for any eventualities down the line. Plus the 850 is only a tenner more than the 750, so no loss.

you could also get SB

Wow, that seems like quite a downgrade just to get SB... 460 > 560ti?

I took out the SandyBridge so I could afford better components, like upgrading to a 922 case. SB doesn't seem to have lit the world on fire. (Besides, once it goes down in price, that's an upgrade... heh.)

Wait a while before you buy. General consensus is that there's an early adopter premium atm, and Sandy Bridge prices will fall soon to the point where an i5 2500K + P67 motherboard costs little more than an i5 760 + P55 motherboard. Not to say that the i5 760 is bad value for money, as it's not, but SB is considerably better.
