How's this for a bargain?

No, someone has taken a picture from google, stuck it on pistonheads with an e-mail address and no doubt will ask for a deposit before you view, you won't ever see him, the car or your money ever again.

Who the hell would ever agree to that?!

Well lets think.

How about anyone who buys a car off e-bay for starters, usually sellers say, deposit needed blah blah blah.

Load of people are mugs about stuff like this.

ebay I can understand. I wasn't aware pistonheads was, sorry. I assumed it was like auto trader, they were classified ads.

Problem with pistonheads as i can see it is no-one seems to be watching over it, loads of these scams have come up recently.

Hmmm, hopefully nobody will be that dumb. eBay I can understand as you have bid and won, pistonheads is simply a classified site so you haven't bought it unless you have agreed to buy it. I imagine in this case, though, someone would think "oooo £3.5k, I'll take it without looking at it" ... if that's what you mean then yes I can see that there would be some mugs who would go along with it.
