My dad has finally caved and decided to replace his 10 year old Dell computer which can just about run windows xp these days. I have been given the task of searching for a good replacement and wondering how the following spec looks.

"Primo PLUS 510a" AMD 760G DDR3 Ready Barbones (Socket AM3+)

BenQ G2222HDL 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitor

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM

Samsung SH-S222BB/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black)

All that comes out at £395.68 including shipping, and seems to include everything apart from hdd, mouse, keyboard which are not needed.

The main idea behind the spec is quietness but im not sure how quiet this setup would be, I was originally thinking of a llano based setup until I stumbled upon the pre built barebones, which would provide a lot more bang for buck essentially.

The setup will only be used for basic tasks such as checking email, browsing the internet and using a variety of office applications, maybe a cheeky game of solitaire but that's about it.

Anyway how does it look? would the llano setup be quieter?

Any other recommendations max budget around £400.

Many Thanks in Advance guys!

Many thanks guys! So many replys so quick, was thinking could replace the case in your build stulid with:

OcUK Imp MicroATX Tower Case (500w PSU)

It includes the psu and shaves a nice bit of money of, wondering also if anyone has any experience with the case + psu. Essentially is it likely to pop?
