This will be my first time building my own PC so any thoughts would be appreciated. Here's what I'm thinking of getting:

PROCESSOR
Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 2.66GHz

GRAPHICS
Asus GeForce EN8800 GT 512MB

RAM
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit

MOTHERBOARD
Asus P5N-D nForce 750i SLi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

PSU
OCZ GameXStream 850w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply

Total £530

Any recommendations on how to get it under £500?
I want to go SLI and maybe get a 45nm Quad core in 18mnths time.

Swap the cpu for a 2160 for 40ish quid if you know you are going to upgrade it again anyway

If you are thinking of overclocking, an e8200 with 6400 RAM won't get you very far
