top one is a lot cheaper, but still with a decent cooler, bottom one can be changed into a 6970 by following instructions on the internet somewhere.

personally i wouldnt send so much on peripherals, but if you want to then theres no reason why not

can save £30 by going with the 6950 toxic, can unlock the shaders to give a 6970 in all but name(not guranteed). I ordered 2, 1 of which I've test and its unlocked. memory is 'weaker' than the 'real' 6970 but that doesn't make a big difference to the performance maybe a fps here or there.

Case is awesome, I've been using it myself for over a year with no complaints, and the tool-less installation was very handy. What is the issue with the Agility?


As to unlocking the 6950, I was under the impression that they had stopped that now? If they haven't then the 6950 is the obvious choice

only the toxic is advertised to be able to, no flashing just flick the switch as one is pre-modified.

op in http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18316787 managed to unlock the twin frozr iii but I wouldn't risk it, the toxic is a bit more expensive but no risks involved(you flick a switch and it works or doesn't no risk of a brick).

agree about the mouse/kb, there are much cheaper alternatives, G400/Sidewinder X4, cheap but still quality.

Lots of reports of failure and incompatibility. They've been releasing firmware fixes, but I'd just play it safe with a M4.
 
I've spent ~£100 on my kb/mouse(loggitech g15v2 and g9) and £200 on logitech z5500 speakers(not used in 1 1/2yrs, been meaning to clear a space on my desk for them but never got around to it till recently and they'll be being used soon), so much for not spend lots on peripherals ;)

also have a g11 and razer mouse £60, also £50 on medusa 5.1 headset but thats broken(for lan use leaving my g15 and g9 at home).
