I am not up to date with which mobo etc is best but I would say if it was me I would get a 20" WS as a monitor is something you probably wont be wanting to upgrade regulary and 1440x900 is a bit on the small side!

PSU is fine, that graphics card doesn't even require an extra power cable. I run a much older overclocked intel PC with lots more HDD's/DVDRW and a 7900GS on a 400w fine :)

I would also go with the antec Sonata II case (£20 more) aswell as it looks better IMO and it does have a 450w PSU to so if you wanted a better gfx card in the future you got more chance it working with that :)

it's a tight budget and can't reallly add much more onto it, i was thinking about a different mobo.

bump, anyone?

could people spec me a rig of similar or better ability for under 600 quid? need everything!

really needs 2 gig ram and dual core, needs to be able to play bf2 at full settings and C&C3 and maybe CoH
