Hi all, I already have an EK GPU waterblock and backplate sourced for the GPU so dont worry that there isnt one added here, but what do you guys think? any suggestions? will it be sufficiently cooled? im open to any help! thank you :)

Also is it ok to just add this liquid and then that will be fine? or do I need to add other additives as well?

Thank you :)

Might as well WB the GPU while your at it :D shame not too

You normally don't need additives when using pre mixed stuff as it's all ready well pre mixed :p

Might be worth checking with the mayhems guys though But looks fine to me

Looks good, what case is it going in?

You don't need to put any biocide etc in Mayhems stuff it already comes with it.

Do you need that much rad capacity, unless you plan to add more gpu's? I have two 240's for CPU and one GPU, which seems plenty. You could save some cash?

It's just to cover incase I go SLI in the future, I wanna see the performance first before thinking about a second card, and I am watercooling the GPU too but I just sourced those bits from elsewhere thats why I didnt add it here :)

It's going into an Enthoo Primo though so there should be more than enough space I hope!

You'll be fine, Im running a 480 in the top and a 360 Monsta in the bottom in the Primo and I was running sli with my cpu and mosfet cooled in the same loop.

Thank you :) and im assuming with that fan controller I can just hook all my fans up to a PCB, plug that into the fan controller and just set a custom fan curve? everyone raves about it thats why I picked it, but I dont actually know why people rave about it so much, like what makes it so good!

Not sure on that I just use the Phanteks controller that comes with the case plugged into my CPU fan header, 10 fans on the Phanteks and 5 fans on my mobo.

Hmm that could be easier actually, what RPM do your fans spin at idle? I currently use the Phanteks hub and they hover at 700rpm and it is SILENT, so i'd want the same with my water too hopefully, when playing games all I can hear is the Windforce spinning up

I use the AISuite that came with my board with a custom profile, the SP120's on my rads spin between 800 and 1200rpm depending on temps.

The Phanteks fans are anywhere from 450rpm to 800rpm.

If your waterblock is compatible then get the zotac 980ti AMP which has 5 years of warranty.

Also afaik the aquaero doesn't support PWM fans.

Finally if you have Members market access have a look at the watercooling parts threads as there is stuff for ludicrous prices.

Ahh so the Aquaero just voltage controls the fans to PWM like the Phanteks hub? so i'd just buy 3 pin fans and it would work that way I guess? and yeh ill have a nose thank you :)

Yeah there is 1 PWM on that fan controller and the rest are 3 Pin. But you can plug up to 11 fans into it I think. And the software is pretty cool once you figure out how to use it! :p it took me ages!
