Quick qn; do all Hoya CP filters easily rotate/spin, or do they need to be screwed in and out to adjust the polarisation?

Been looking at them on certain sites but can't see any which say they freely rotate, though I recall seeing on here a bit ago that at least some of them do.

Have also seen a Kood one that rotates; anyone got any experience of these vs the Hoya?

Ive got a Kood CP but its a drop in for my Cokin P mount.
Not had chance to try it yet.

The Hoya ones rotate fairly freely. They're tight enough to not spin round too easily if you knock it with your hand but loose enough to be easy to adjust.

I haven't any experience with Kood CP's but I have some Kood ND Grad filters and they leave a colour cast, they're not that great.

Thanks all.

The Hoya filters; are the ones you have the S-HMC or just the standard uncoated ones?

They're the coated ones, definitely worth the extra few quid I think.
