I know the dons may think this is the wrong place to ask this, but i just won't get an answer in the price checking forum and im not exactly looking to sell it on a forum either, the only people who would know the answer to this question browse this section of the forums - hopefully they will understand.

Just to add: This sale is not for me, and parts cannot be sold to individuals, only to other schools due to the way our financing works, hopefully that reinforces my above reasoning for asking here opposed to the price checking forum.

I need to know how i should be looking to sell this on for:
1x HP4108GL Chassis
1x J4908A module
1x J4893A module
1x Power Supply unit
3x Rev "A" Mini GBics

It's all about 5 years old so obviously getting on a bit now, ive already got interest in the modules, power supply and gbics but ive not a clue what we should be looking to get for them.
 
At that age most companies would likely write it off or pay for disposal I suspect, if you put it on ebay (I know you can't but for comparison) you would likely get £3-500 for the lot at best (and likely very much towards the lower end of that unfortunately).
 
well £300-500 means two new Gbics for the 8206zl, when you have a budget as tight as a nuns nether regions you have to take what you can get here ;)
 
Our school system still uses the HP 41XX switches and modules. Any possibility that we could discuss acquiring some of your surplus?
