HP battery

I have a HP laptop and got following on start up. Do i need to replace battery and if so where from?


HP Battery Alert BIOS has detected that the capacity of the internal battery has been reduced. This may be caused by environmental factors such as low ambient operating temperature, or it could be due to aging of the battery pack. Operating your system in a warmer location or operating your unit for a while might resolve this condition. If the condition persists or if you have an older system please contact HP service."

I'd suggest yes if it's a few years old the internal main battery may be worn out.

You should be able to find replacements on eBay or similar, but do look for a decent quality one.

You can probably find guides on how to replace by searching your laptop model and "battery replacement".
