Having lost the recovery disks on my 10.1 CQ10 netbook and being locked out of making more, I asked HP for a set. The netbook is still in warranty. Their recovery disk supplier to which HP pointed me was asking £35 for a set.
I suggested that as I had a warranty, this fee should be waived or reduced. I immediately got an email saying that this had been ordered and was being dispatched.
I now have a 16Gb USB drive with the system recovery files for Win7 starter.
